I thought the contest was the best we've done our show yet, and I liked the music, now that it flows(we didn't screw the tempos). Yeah, I saw some photos from the stands and... The Lines Were Straight. pfhat.
Btw, we got 1 1 2, which equals 1. On to area. The pumping up will commence.
The game on Friday was Lake's first football loss. We marched badly, but it doesn't matter. Munzo got angry whatever. His adam's apple exploded from high blood pressure, but the paramedics took him to the hospital and he's fine now. You should've seen the blood. It was everywhere.
Ooh, listening to System of a Down reminds me of my first year at Interlochen. This was about when the 'war' was starting and I remember sitting in a bunk at night in fear of what was going to happen to the world and how humanity was going to not destroy itsself. I just realized what the answer to world problems is: Superman (lollers too bad Christopher Reeves died).
Reading "The Bourne [4 syllable word]" reminds me of my third year there. Wacky.

|07:21 pm - God wears long pants.|
I got a spot in the show. Thank you Muñoz.
Lolz, I know what the chain rule is. Heh. I did ok on a Calculus quiz, though I didn't finish and I had to educated-guess on three. Maybe I didn't do ok, but the point is I know what the chain rule is. I learned a craploap that day, and guess what? It was the day Williams wasn't there. Hum...
Stress is my anti-drug. Stress seems to give me a natural high.
There's a vague image that I probably got from Marathon that I like a lot: Someone can't see and they're being attacked from every side but they manage to deflect every attack at the last second, and there's some sort of calm to go with it. This is very obscure, I'm sure, but I feel like that now.
Four people now do the hand hand-hammered-handgun. Confused? Hah...

|10:51 pm - Much Ado About Much Ado About Nothing|
I've heard that play's name so many times, and I have no idea what it's about. Actually, it's about nothing. but yeah... I think someone should write a play called Much Ado About Much Ado About Nothing. Plot: A bunch of bored people would go see a play and two of them would fall in love but their parents would OD on cocaine that was in the concessions food and they would never actually see the play. That'd be awesome.
The Great Skatsby had it's first 'gig'. We played for a Vietamese Catholic Church (?). It was a lot of fun and we got free food. We ran out of songs at the end. We tried to play our best song (every new day; five iron frenzy) three times and messed up every try. Good times.
It was a celebration of Tet-something-something, the Vietnamese (possibly also Chinese?) new year. There was a dragon dance at the beginning and some other Easternish stuff. They spoke in Vietnamese a lot (ching chang chung[sorry if it's racist, but they said that]). We were mainly playing in the middle of the skits they did to keep the people interested. Mostly intsrumental.
They liked us or were very polite.
At the end we played the Mario theme, the Zelda theme, and the Super Smash Bros. theme. Yeah.
Scott's solos rock.
As for school, I'm still going insane. So much, that I invented a new political party: The Rage Party.

Band practice was 8-12, btw.
So, the Amtgard club is going official. If you enjoy hitting people or getting hit by people, but you feel bad when you hurt someone or get hurt, this club is for you! If you don't know what it is, ask someone else. Or me. It doesn't matter. The official Amtgard website is absolutely false, however.
Mosquito death trucks are spooky.
I've gotten used to having multiple quizzes/tests in a day. School is insane. This week was crazy stressful. I hope it gets easier, for I would go insane with this much work. When I got home from Interlochen, I thought I could do all the things I was unable to there because of the lack of civilization/parents. I barely have time to trumpet. I don't even have time to whine! What is the world coming to?
Things would be going well, except for the insane stress. Meh.
